Auburn and Texas Tech are in Mexico tonight for the Cancun Challenge and are set to face off at 5 p.m. CT.


The Tigers and Red Raiders are both undefeated at 3-0 on the year. The winner of tonight's game will play either Purdue or Utah Wednesday.

Auburn 67, Texas Tech Auburn's in the tournament championship after holding off Texas Tech. Jared Harper goes 1-for-2 in his final trip to the line before LaRon Smith comes up with a big block in the paint in the final seconds as Texas Tech's Aaron Ross attempts to tie the game. The final shot, a long 3-pointer, is no good.

Auburn 63, Texas Tech 56 (3:30) Texas Tech's Aaron Ross leads all scorers with 17 points after knocking down a huge 3-pointer to put Auburn on its toes late. Red Raiders shooting 50 percent from the field in the second half after going 33 percent in the first.
