Going completely make-up free, the singer wowed viewers with both her stunning vocal performance and bare-faced look.
Praising her look, one person tweeted: “How refreshing to see Alicia Keys without makeup on X factor, looking natural. #nomakeup #natural #noslap.”
Another wrote: “Love Alicia keys. Plus I’m sure she’s the only female singer to go on X Factor and wear no make up. #Natural #XFactor.”

“Instantly, I became a bit nervous and slightly uncomfortable. My face was totally raw. I had on a sweatshirt! As far as I was concerned, this was my quick run-to-the-shoot-so-I-can-get-ready look, not the actual photoshoot look.”
But after seeing the pictures, Alicia had never felt more “honestly beautiful”.
She admitted: “I swear it is the strongest, most empowered, most free, and most honestly beautiful that I have ever felt.”
