Half of Matchday 4 in the Champions League is over. Eight games took place on Tuesday, with the massive Barcelona vs. Manchester City game highlighting the slate. Here's everything to know.

What to know from Tuesday's games:

Four teams have clinched a spot in the knockout stages

Two of the groups are pretty much over. In Group A, PSG and Arsenal both won on late goals to secure a spot in the knockout stages. Mesut Ozil was the hero for the Gunners, while an unexpected hero showed up for the Parisian club. Group D is all but over as well. Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich both won and are through, as expected.

That means all that is left really is to fight for the top spot in the group and see who finishes third for qualification to the Europa League.

PSG may have the goal of the tournament

There is no doubt that the Champions League is one of the most beautiful and iconic soccer competitions in the world. It always produces moments of brilliance that leave us wanting more, and Tuesday was an example. This goal from PSG is likely the goal of the tournament so far, and it's going to be hard to beat. How do you hit the ball that perfectly, Thomas Meunier?

City gets rare win

Entering Tuesday, only twice in history had Barcelona lost a Champions League game where Lionel Messi had scored. The first was against Celtic in 2012, and the second was against PSG in 2014. But it happened on Wednesday as City overcame the Messi goal to win 3-1. It's certainly hard to beat Barcelona, but it's near impossible to do it when Messi scores. What a feat for the Citizens.
